Prodigy feat. Domo Genesis - YNT (Young & Thuggin) [video]
The first video from the Prodigy x Alchemist project, Albert Einstein, also reunites the sounds of Domo Genesis and Alchemist who fathered the No Idols mixtape in 2012. The emerging natural alliance of young lyricists with the producers that laid the foundation of their influences is a very welcome trend. However, the juxtaposition of these two rappers creates a strange picture ie: Prodigy in shorts and Aloha print. Opposite sides of the coin, Domo writes toward his ambitions while Prodigy is demanding to be acknowledged and ready to kill toward that end(?). Both elements are palpable in the vaguely somber production of Alchemist, but be easy, tdun, you’re at the beach.
