Being born in the early 80’s has played a major role in my appreciation and understanding of different types of music. I was born into an era of endless talented musicians who produced some of the most timeless pieces ever to hit the earth. Growing up listening to Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins, Journey, The Whispers, The Gap Band, Michael McDonald and many more allowed me at an early age to developed an ear for quality, perfection, and rhythm. As times change, I feel a burden and need to remind us of the journeys we have traveled and endured to get to our present state. To embrace the future we must embrace the past. We cannot forget those great artists that made it possible for people like Drake and others to succeed! As a Disk Jockey I have an obligation to my predecessors to remind my audience of the memorable, cheerful, and difficult flight we have endured to get to where we are today.
About me? Lukis 'Babyfeet' Brown? So little to say except, that I love, eat, and breathe musik! Since the dawn of the internet I've been collecting tunes, albums, etc. My homey DJ Serg got me behind the turntables in late 2010 and the rest was history! Djing to me is an outward expression of what I'm feeling internally! I'm thankful for the opportunity to present and share my style of musik to all the listeners out there, and truly appreciate the love & support!
