Music is such a huge part of my life. It's hard to express the range of emotions that it has shown me, brought me, evoked from me, etc... I remember the day my dad passed away, and how I sat in my room and listened to music for hours. Listening to music he enjoyed, we both enjoyed. It was the right thing to do for me at the time. Music has never let me down and for that I'm so very thankful and grateful.
Along with some disco classics, I sprinkled in a few new things including a new song from Jonathan Butler. If you've ever had the chance to see him play live then you know. His voice and playing (guitar) are top notch. I remember seeing him years ago at Kimball East in Emeryville. He came out and did an encore which included a gospel song. There wasn't a dry eye in the house after this song (including mine), and to this day is still fresh in my mind. Enjoy the show and one luv luv.
