Apparently I'm about 2 months off with the news of Brian Burton's (Danger Mouse) new musical venture with the Shins frontman James Mercer. Maybe this news to you too. The duo call themselves Broken Bells. The music is really well crafted electro-folk rock.

Their self titled album will be available on CD and vinyl March 9th. Also availabe will be a deluxe edition 44-page pocket notebook which includes photos & illustrations, a glow in the dark sticker sheet, and some other crap to make purchasing physical product feel worth while again.
